About the Artist
My name is Amy Phillips
Abstract Expressionist and Mental Health PMDD Artist
Through a mix of Acrylic techniques and tools, my brightly textured pieces were created by translating the intense emotions I feel when coping with PMDD.
Creating these pieces became a way of processing the overflowing noise in my head, turning my wildly unstable thoughts into unknown, free-flowing forms.
Working with acrylic has given me the best way to explore my feelings, creating the contrasting layering of tones, shapes and textures.
My Art is not a representation of a single thought, it is the inside of my head; raw, chaotic emotions in abstract forms.
